Bob Christensen, President of Roads2.Com, was born and raised in the Northwest region of the United States.  The love of mountains, passion for experiencing different cultures, and travel have always been part of his life.  Bob was an avid rock climber in his early years, and loves to sail. 

Bob traveled throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico and has worked extensively in both North and South Asia.    His professional endeavors involved the global telecommunications industry.  Bob has a Master's degree in Urban Information Systems from the University of Washington, Seattle.






Tran Thuy is Country Manager - Vietnam.  Her favorite places in Vietnam are Phu Quoc Island, Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat.  Also Oxford-UK, Tunis-Tunisia, Rome, Berlin, and California, USA are special memories for her.  As a journalist in Hanoi, travel and the experience of other cultures has always been part of Tran's life.  When she is not working, Tran enjoys 'personal writing' and visiting art galleries.  Beyond Vietnamese and English, she has a grasp of many other conversational phrases from around the world.




..... Vietnam is a lovely country ..... sight-seeing and exploring in and around Saigon, Hoi An and Hanoi was amazing on every level .....  I'm going back .....

..... A life changing experience, one of the best ..... I can't wait to see more of this part of the world ..... both Hanoi and the world heritage city of Luang Prabang, Laos ..... wow...

..... In the rural areas of Vietnam, children came to accompany John and I as we explored their world ..... 

..... Da Nang ..... Hoi An ..... the Mekong Delta were utterly amazing experiences .....

..... Linda and I are back home ..... what a wonderful time we had on the Roads2 tour ..... people always say that tours can be too much or not enought ..... this was a seamless tour ..... scheduled sights to see ..... free time to wander off every afternoon and evening .....

..... I would like to wake up each morning with a view of Halong Bay ..... have a bowl of  'Pho' for lunch ..... and a walk through the Old Quarter of Hanoi each evening ..... that would be a perfect day for me .....|

..... everything went like clock work ..... wonderful weather ..... nice boutique touch ..... memories of a beautiful, friendly people and their fascinating history and way of life .....

..... the visit to Vietnam made Julie and I  stop and reflect ..... Vietnam was full of history .....  for so long a country of war, and now a land at peace .....

..... The morning market in Cholon revealed the early start of each day for the Vietnamese people ..... everything from fruit to noodles, flopping fish, vegetables, local donuts and hanging meat being displayed and quickly sold .....

..... the trip had the perfect combination of adventure and new experiences ..... I can honestly say that I know someday I will be back .....
